Visit Discoverykids.com and look for the Science kits. They have all sorts of bug homes. With Ladybugs, you keep them for a little bit and then release them into your backyard. I like the idea of growing something, but then not keeping it hostage. The food comes with the larvae. You just have to put drops of water to keep the container moist. Very easy and fun.
