English is not the lingua franca of the Blogosphere
David Sifry of Technorati reported earlier this month on some of his company’s language-related statistics. (Sifry’s Alerts) I missed his post when it first came out, and I just happened to be browsing when I came across his list of surprising changes. For starters, English is not the most widely used blogging language any longer. In fact, Japanese edged out the other languages and jumped to number one.
Fortunately, Feedlinx is evolving to meet the needs of non-English speaking bloggers. We have just released an updated version that supports the Spanish language. This will be followed by other translations in the future. The Blogosphere is exploding globally and vendors will need to continue to adapt to reach an increasingly diverse set of customers.

No sabÃa que ‘feeds’ era una palabra española. ¡Felicitaciones, y buena suerte con la traducción japonesa!
Thanks!
I guess if you don’t use the word ‘Feeds’ then you end up with ‘comida’ — RSS Meals! Sounds yummy!
