Are you LinkedIn?
This morning I followed Shel Holtz’ post over to Guy Kawaski’s. I recommend reading both posts. There’s a lot of food for thought around what you can do with online networking sites.
LinkedIn is one of those great tools that I know I should use, but don’t. Maybe there’s a New Year’s Resolution in there somewhere. I did put out a query to my LinkedIn network last year, but no one responded and I haven’t tried anything since.
For me, the best use of LinkedIn is to keep track of colleagues as they move from job-to-job. I’m terrible at managing contact information, but as long as they’re in my network and they keep their info. up-to-date, I can use LinkedIn as my contact management system.
