The Facebook #FFFF00 (Yellow) Pages
Okay, I promise this will be my last Facebook post for a few days. I’ve actually been sitting on this one for a while.
I created an application called BizList that is basically the Facebook Yellow Pages. What’s nice about this app is that you can save your favorite businesses and easily share your favorites with your friends. I wrote the app because I got tired of looking for things like my barber in Google. I spend a lot of time in Facebook, so it makes sense to have handy access to the businesses that I use on a regular basis.
I’ve loaded all of the Starbucks locations into the database (very useful) and I’ve also loaded over 60,000 U.S. restaurants. Any user can add a business into the directory and you can view the latest additions like the one below for a NY Law Firm.
