Although I originally developed My Tweeple as a tool to make it easier to manage my Twitter friend list, there are now multiple features that are extremely useful for contact management.  Several items have been available for many months:

1. CSV Export
2. Search
3. Tags
4. Comments

And I’ve just released a new feature that is only available to My Tweeple users.  If your friends are also using My Tweeple, you can exchange additional contact information including your e-mail address, phone number, and Skype address.  The information is private and you maintain finite control over the permissions.

It’s easy to share your information.  Navigate to Tools»Settings and enter additional contact data.

 

Close the settings page and locate one of your friends who is also using My Tweeple.  Click a checkbox to indicate which of the personal data items you’d like to share.  If your friend isn’t a current user,  you’ll see a link that allows you to send your friend an invitation to join you on My Tweeple.

 

 

Once you’ve shared your contact information with a friend, he or she will then login to My Tweeple and see the additional data with your Twitter details.

 

 

My Tweeple is now a great way to manage your Twitter friend list and exchange personal data.  Although the information doesn’t come through the export yet, you can expect that feature to appear soon as well.
